Job Title: GIS/CAD Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled GIS/CAD Technician to join our team at Amentum. As a GIS/CAD Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting our nuclear projects and consulting services.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have experience working with Autocad Civil 3D and ArcGIS, with a strong understanding of data visualization and mapping techniques. You will be responsible for creating and revising drawings and supporting documents, as well as performing field/site visits for data gathering and record drawing preparation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and draft Autocad Civil 3D drawings and supporting documents
  • Perform field/site visits for data gathering and record drawing preparation
  • Use ArcGIS to create and analyze maps and data
  • Import various file types and create data visualizations
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects
Requirements:
  • 5 or more years of experience in GIS/CAD design and drafting
  • Autocad Civil 3D and ArcGIS experience
  • Ability to use data to create mapping and visualizations
  • Ability to import various file types and create data visualizations
  • Sole USA Citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in architectural, structural, mechanical, process and utilities piping, HVAC, Electrical or plumbing design/drafting for industrial and/or government facilities
  • Experience using design software products such as Microstation, SmartPlant, Navisworks, BIM/3D software
  • Ability to maneuver and manipulate 3D facility models for investigative or informational purposes
Work Environment:

The work location for this position is in Parks Township, PA. You will be working in an office environment within a facility construction trailer, and may be required to work in a restricted work area.

Equipment and Machines:

You will be required to use standard office equipment and machines, including personal computers, scanners, copy machines, telephones, printers, fax machines, and other office equipment.

Security Clearance:

You must be able to secure and maintain a security clearance.

Background Check:

You must pass a pre-employment drug and background check.
