We are looking to add a Cadd Designer Drafter with Autocad civil 3d experience for a project in Vandergrift, PA Autocad. As a staff member, you will have the opportunity to work on a project that is critical the nations security and safety.

The Nuclear Project and Consulting is a Tier 1 service provider to the U.S. Department of Energy, we deliver safe and innovative solutions at complex nuclear cleanup and production sites. Our services include program management, decommissioning, environmental remediation, waste and nuclear material management, nuclear operations, consulting, and engineering and construction.

We are partnering with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) to remediate the radiological contaminants at The Shallow Land Disposal Area (SLDA) site in Vandergrift, PA, encompassing 44 acres and 10 trenches of contaminated waste and soil. Army Corps awarded the $350 million remediation services contract for the cleanup of radioactive waste at the Shallow Land Disposal Area. Remediation design plans and procedures are currently being developed in anticipation of starting the site infrastructure improvements.

Qualifications - External

  • Autocad civil 3d experience
  • ArcGIS
  • 5-10 years of experience
  • Ability to use Data to create mapping
  • Ability to Import various file types
  • AutoCAD design software.
  • Ability to revise or create drawings and/or supporting documents that reflect changes in field conditions.
  • Ability to perform field/site visit for data gathering and record drawing preparation.
  • Sole USA Citizenship is required. No Dual citizens or visas for this role
  • A person already residing withing commuting distance of Vandergrift, PA is highly desired

Preferred Experience

· Experience in architectural, structural, mechanical, process and utilities piping, HVAC, Electrical or plumbing design/drafting for industrial and/or government facilities preferred

· Experience using design software products such as: Microstation, SmartPlant, Navisworks, BIM/3D software, etc.

· The ability to maneuver and manipulate 3D facility models for investigative or informational purposes.

· Experience working with heavy industrial and nuclear projects.

Essential Requirements:

Physical Requirements: Work will vary from sedentary office tasks to in-field site work. May transport light items, such as reports, data products, notebooks and laptops.

Work Environment:

Office environment within Facility construction trailers.

May be in a restricted work area.

Criticality of Attendance:

Must be able to work within the normal daytime shift in the office on-site. Except for Short Term Disability/Long Term Disability/FMLA & approved time off, attendance is considered essential.

Equipment and Machines:

Standard office equipment and machines: personal computer, scanner, copy machine, telephone, printer, fax machine, and other office equipment including desk supplies. Personal computer and required CAD software.

Other Essential Functions:

Must be able to secure and maintain a security clearance

Must take and pass a pre-employment drug and background check.

Must be able to read and write effectively in English.
