Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a great customer experience
  • Assist the Store Manager in the smooth and profitable operation of the store
  • Train new Team Members in essential store functions and develop them into future leaders
  • Work with vendors in accordance with company policy and procedures
  • Maintain and oversee compliance of all loss prevention and cash control procedures
  • Assist in setting quarterly goals, budget, and objectives with the District Manager
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve sales and profitability
Requirements
  • 3+ years of food service or retail management experience or a bachelor's degree preferred
  • Availability to work various shifts, including first, second, and third shifts, weekends, holidays, and occasional double-shifts
  • Ability to work and lead in a team environment and willingness to travel to the Support Center and other stores within the assigned district
  • Strong attention to detail, basic computer skills, and a timely arrival and excellent attendance record
Physical Requirements
  • Stand continuously, bend/squat/twist frequently, reach frequently, work in a cold environment occasionally, and lift up to 10lbs continuously, up to 25lbs frequently, and up to 50lbs rarely
  • Push/pull 40lbs occasionally, walk continuously, stoop/kneel/crouch occasionally, and grasp/pinch/grip frequently
Compensation

Pay is from $21.25 - $22.00 per hour. QuickChek and Murphy USA consider a wide range of factors when making compensation decisions, including experience, skill sets, training, licensure, and certifications, education, as well as business and organizational needs.
