Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Triage Technician to join our team at Advanced Animal Care Berea. As a key member of our veterinary practice, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic by providing support to our veterinarians and assisting in patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain patient history and record notes in our electronic medical records system
  • Assist the doctor-on-duty during physical exams and aid in animal restraint
  • Collect specimens for lab testing and run lab tests as directed by the doctor-on-duty
  • Invoice patient procedures and appointments, and maintain accurate records
  • Clean and maintain exam rooms, laundry, and hospital areas
  • Process payments and deposits, and check in and put away inventory orders
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Basic knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
