Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care to residents in post-acute facilities, adhering to established standards and protocols.
  • Measure and monitor vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and other essential metrics.
  • Observe and report any concerns or changes in residents' conditions to the broader nursing team.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, mobility, and toileting, to promote residents' independence and dignity.
  • Support residents with mealtime and feeding, ensuring their nutritional needs are met.
  • Reposition residents in wheelchairs and beds, and assist with transfers, to prevent pressure ulcers and promote comfort.
Requirements:
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical stamina to perform duties in a post-acute setting
