Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

As a Maintenance Technician at Firstmark Credit Union, you will be responsible for performing assigned maintenance work to ensure the highest possible standard of our offices and buildings. This includes responding to 24/7 emergencies as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform assigned maintenance work, including preventive maintenance, routine maintenance, and urgent work assignments.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and perform routine electrical work, such as changing lamps and ballasts, fixtures, switches, etc.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and perform routine HVAC work, such as system checks, change belts and filters, etc.
  • Perform a variety of routine services and repair operations to the facility itself, common equipment, furnishings, and fixtures.
  • Ensure all facilities functions are performed in accordance with NEC, NFPA, and OSHA regulations and local city codes.
  • Prioritize jobs and handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Provide the highest level of internal service and support, finding the best solutions to resolve day-to-day problems and issues presented by employees, members, and vendors.
  • Responsible for service vehicle and provide support with company fleet vehicles.
  • Maintain ServiceNow ticket system, updating assigned tickets daily.
  • Perform other projects and duties as assigned, assisting team members with room setup, special functions, and events.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 to 5 years previous experience in building maintenance.
  • HVAC certification required.
  • Texas electrician license or San Antonio electrical maintenance technician registration preferred.
  • Plumber certification a plus.
  • Must project a professional appearance and attitude.
  • Must communicate with co-workers and members with professionalism and respect.
  • Must exhibit excellent ethical attributes.
  • Proficient with various hand and power tools.
  • Possession of a valid Texas driver's license and an excellent driving record.
  • Familiar with Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and Computerized Building Automation software.
Other Information:

The basic schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Must be able to work occasional overtime and/or off-shift hours when required. Respond to emergency calls 24/7.

Must be able to travel to Firstmark financial centers across San Antonio and outlying areas daily.

At times, may be required to work outdoors in inclement weather, perform rooftop work, and work in confined spaces.

Must be able to climb ladders.

Must be able to lift 50lbs.
