Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures for our patient population.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate modality-specific technical equipment to produce high-quality images for patient care.
  • Provide radiologists and physicians with patient history and obtain informed consent for exams.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other staff members to ensure safe outcomes for patients.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and consistently demonstrate proficiency in performing radiologic examinations.
  • Use critical thinking principles to make decisions that lead to desired outcomes and promote a safe environment at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
Requirements
  • 2 years of technical experience in nuclear medicine or a related field.
  • Successful completion of an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) approved educational program.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) credential in Nuclear Medicine (N) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) certification.
