We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our advanced Diagnostic Imaging team at Recruitz Staffing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients with precision and care.
  • Perform a wide range of nuclear medicine procedures with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Operate gamma cameras and other specialized equipment to capture high-quality images.
  • Process and analyze imaging data to assist in diagnosis and patient care.
  • Implement radiation safety measures to protect patients, staff, and the environment.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and procedure documentation.
  • Assist in training new technologists and students.
  • Stay current with advances in nuclear medicine technology and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field.
  • Current state licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) certification.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
  • Proficiency in nuclear medicine procedures and imaging techniques.
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety principles and regulations.
  • Excellent patient care and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • AA or Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field.
  • Dual certification in Nuclear Medicine and CT or PET/CT.
  • Experience with advanced nuclear medicine techniques (e.g., SPECT/CT, PET/CT).
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems.
