We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Hospitalist Physician Assistant or Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the University of Iowa. As a valued member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, collaborating with our multidisciplinary team, and contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient outcomes.



Job Summary

This is a full-time position that requires excellent clinical skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities


  • Provide comprehensive patient care, including medical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, in collaboration with our multidisciplinary team.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the development of process improvements.
  • Engage in ongoing education and professional development, staying up-to-date on the latest clinical developments and best practices in hospital medicine.
  • Contribute to the growth and success of our team, providing guidance and support to colleagues as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to achieve our goals, including improving patient outcomes, reducing length of stay, and enhancing the overall patient experience.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, providing coverage for our team and ensuring seamless patient care.


Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have a Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Physician Assistant Studies or Nursing, and be certified as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP). You must also have a strong clinical background, with experience in hospital medicine and a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care.



What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $150,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.
