Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Shelton, CT. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional nursing care to our residents, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team, and contributing to the overall success of our community.
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to assess, document, and communicate resident information effectively. They will also be able to direct and supervise Resident Care Assistants, coordinate care needs with community providers, and recognize and respond to emergencies appropriately.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must possess a current state license as an LPN, CPR certification, and a graduate degree from an approved LPN program. A minimum of 1-2 years of experience working as a nurse is preferred, and previous experience working with the elderly in a paid or volunteer position is highly desirable.
