Job Title: Senior Highway Engineer/Project Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Highway Engineer/Project Manager to join our transportation team in Orlando, Florida. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading our engineering efforts, winning new projects, and developing/growing team members.

  • Lead our engineering team in Orlando, primarily serving south Florida
  • Responsible for winning new projects and developing/growing team members
  • Strong background in Florida DOT District's 4 and 6 design policies and procedures is preferred

Responsibilities:
  • Market services to current and prospective clients to assist in creating letters of response and technical proposals/presentations
  • Oversee engineering designs, including geometric alignments, profiles, cross-sections, construction, and maintenance of traffic details
  • Oversee the creation of engineering documents, including typical section packages, pavement design reports, and variation/exception reports
  • Perform MicroStation/GEOPAK/Open roads processes to develop and grow team members
  • Coordinate plans, calculations, and specifications amongst multi-discipline engineering teams
  • Perform internal quality control procedures
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's in Civil Engineering from an accredited four-year college
  • Florida Professional Engineering Registration
  • Minimum of ten years experience
  • Proficiency in Microstation/GEOPAK/Open Roads processes
  • Experience with 3D Corridor Modeling is a plus
  • Knowledge of FDOT plans preparation criteria and design standards
  • Knowledge of other transportation disciplines and their relationship to roadway design
  • Strong verbal communication and technical writing skills
  • Ability to train and mentor entry-level staff
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis
