We are seeking a skilled Nurse Navigator to join our team at Saint Alphonsus Health System in Boise. As a Nurse Navigator, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and navigation across multiple disciplines, departments, and providers within the system.
About the Role
This is a part-time day shift position, working 8 hours per day, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. You will be responsible for navigating the patient's care collaboratively across multiple disciplines, departments, and providers within the system to achieve seamless patient care. This includes the assessment and provision of all psychosocial resources necessary to support the patient and their family.
Requirements
2 years of RN experience required. An associate or bachelor's degree from a nursing program accredited by ACEN or CCNE is also required. A Colleague must have an RN license, as defined by their primary work state (Idaho or Oregon), issued before the hire date. Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire. Oncology Nurse Certification or certification for defined service line and/or tumor site is optional.
