About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at the Quality Center for Rehabilitation and Healing. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in helping our patients achieve their full potential and regain their independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical conditions, functional capabilities, limitations, and restrictions to determine their potential for rehabilitation. Develop and administer treatment programs with specific goals tailored to each patient's capacity and tolerance, under the direction of a physician.
  • Patient Education and Support: Set realistic and achievable goals for patients, document and record their condition, and educate patients and families on appropriate therapy methods.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with all disciplines to provide patient-centered treatment and care. Work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education and Licensure: Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapist college or university. Valid professional license and registration for the state of practice.
  • Experience and Skills: Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred. Excellent documentation writing skills, including evaluations, weekly progress notes, re-certification, and discharge documentation. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
