IMAC Technician

Position Overview
SAIC is in search of a Tier 2 IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) technician to contribute to our operations. The selected individual will collaborate with fellow IMAC Technicians to facilitate the delivery, installation, relocation, and modification of end-user IT equipment, which includes desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, and other IT-supported peripherals.
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform imaging and re-imaging of laptops and desktops.
· Prepare laptops and desktops for end-user deployment.
· Configure workstations and associated hardware peripherals at designated locations.
· Retrieve hardware marked as returned or surplus from specified areas.
· Diagnose and troubleshoot IT hardware issues.
· Utilize ServiceNOW to identify, isolate, and analyze problems.
· Coordinate vendor service calls for equipment repairs and warranty services.
· Ensure the accuracy and integrity of IT inventory.
· Assist in organizing vendor pickups for hardware designated for electronic disposal.
· Notify the IMAC Lead of recurring issues and trends in hardware problems.
· Engage with various applications and services to execute onboarding and offboarding tasks.
· Take full responsibility for assigned service requests from initiation to completion.
· Provide daily updates on assigned service requests with comprehensive notes.
· Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the IMAC Center.
· Collaborate with other Core IT Teams to ensure prompt deployment of end-user hardware.

Qualifications:
Required:
· Eligibility for a Public Trust clearance, with interim clearance obtained prior to commencement.
· Associate's Degree in a related field with two (2) years of relevant experience, or a High School diploma/GED with four (4) years of relevant experience.
· Experience in imaging enterprise client computers.
· Minimum of 2 years of hands-on IT experience in hardware and software.
· Fundamental understanding of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
· Proficiency in collaborating and sharing information using Microsoft Office applications.
· Experience in managing and maintaining inventory.
Desired:
· Familiarity with BitLocker.
· Experience deploying software and applications using SCCM.
· Experience working within Active Directory to modify existing accounts and objects.
· Knowledge of Dell client computers and monitors (break/fix).
· Experience managing service requests using ServiceNOW.
· Understanding of onboarding and offboarding processes and procedures.
