About the Role

We are seeking a talented Stainless Steel Product Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing new products and improving existing ones using SolidWorks 3D modeling, developing and maintaining accurate BOMs and part/component drawings within the ERP system, and conducting product validation, testing, and certifications.

You will also be leading DFM/A reviews to ensure manufacturability, owning process improvement initiatives, and analyzing manufacturing processes to recommend changes for productivity and cost reduction.

Key Responsibilities

Design new products and improve existing ones using SolidWorks 3D modeling
Develop and maintain accurate BOMs and part/component drawings within the ERP system
Conduct product validation, testing, and certifications
Lead DFM/A reviews to ensure manufacturability
Owning process improvement initiatives
Analyze manufacturing processes to recommend changes for productivity and cost reduction
Design tooling and fixtures required for manufacturing processes
Collaborate with tooling specialists and shop floor teams to refine designs and ensure smooth implementation

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
1-5 years of experience in product design, manufacturing support, or related roles
Proficiency in SolidWorks 3D modeling
Strong understanding of DFM/A principles and structured problem-solving techniques
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with AutoCAD (or willingness to learn)
Exposure to lean manufacturing principles and process improvement methodologies
