Job Summary

The Facilities Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and functionality of our workspace at Aviation Training Consulting. This position is responsible for maintaining and overseeing grounds, buildings, and equipment to provide a clean and safe working environment for employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance on facilities and make repairs as needed to ensure optimal working conditions.
  • Grounds and Building Maintenance: Monitor the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, including offices, conference rooms, parking lots, and outdoor recreation spaces.
  • Team Management: Delegate cleaning and maintenance tasks to team members and oversee their performance to ensure high standards are met.
  • Security and Emergency Response: Ensure proper security measures for the workplace, including collaborating with security system vendors or a team of security professionals, and scheduling routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors.
  • Reporting and Communication: Create reports on maintenance, repairs, safety, and other occurrences for supervisors and other relevant staff.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years' experience in facility maintenance.
