Lutheran Services Florida (LSF) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Service Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in providing case management services to families with children ages birth to 6.

Purpose and Impact:

The Early Childhood Service Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating services and supports for at least 30 open cases at any given time. This includes maintaining case ownership, managing support plans, and continuously monitoring and assessing family dynamics to make necessary adjustments.

Essential Functions:
  • Plan and implement early childhood events at each Center to engage families and refer to St. Joseph's Hospital for developmental screenings.
  • Conduct home visits to meet the needs of families and ensure successful enrollment in key services.
  • Work with parents/caregivers to develop individualized family support plans.
  • Provide timely referrals to services and partner with families to build strong parent-child relationships and strengthen their support networks.
  • Maintain regular contact with service providers and document service progress.
  • Provide community education through public presentations and organize, prioritize, and complete all work assignments by established deadlines.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
  • Experience in primary responsibility to provide case management for at least 30 open cases at any given time with families who have children ages birth to 6.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
