Licensed Vocational Nurse

MedMark Treatment Center is seeking a detail-oriented and empathetic Licensed Vocational Nurse to join their team in Fairfield, CA. As a dispensing nurse, you will work in partnership with physicians and nursing supervisors to dispense prescribed medications to patients in a treatment setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer daily medication to patients in accordance with program policy and medical protocols.
- Use automated dispensing systems, calibrate pumps, and maintain dispensing equipment.
- Produce and maintain appropriate records and reports as required by Company protocol, Federal and State Regulations.
- Ensure compliance with security standards for the distribution and storage of controlled substances as set forth in the Code of Federal regulations.
- Order, receive, and stock medication in accordance with DEA and State regulations.
- Provide daily assessment of patients.
- Perform other related duties as determined by supervisor.
- 1+ Year of Medication Administration experience.
- BLS certification (highly preferred).
- Covid Vaccine (required).
- 8/21/23 Start date (required).
- California State License.
- Active certification at time of submission.
- Must be active at time of submission.
