At Center For Discovery, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate LVN/LPN to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team in our Eating Disorders residential facility.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all orders from physician/psychiatrist are carried out and any information about clients and their wellbeing is promptly and clearly communicated to physician/psychiatrist and in treatment team meetings.
- Follow and implement the Nursing Care Plan.
- Dispense medication as prescribed.
- Count narcotics each day, log appropriately.
- Perform primary first aid and determine need for physician notification.
- Perform vital signs.
- Perform weekly blood draws, where applicable.
- Maintain NG tube when needed.
- Complete waived test for glucose monitoring, UA, Drug screen, and pregnancy.
- Ensure all medications needed by clients are ordered appropriately and available in the facility.
- Manage clients' medical needs, including scheduling appointments, completing referral/prior authorizations for medical treatments and tests as indicated.
This is a part-time position working on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
