Program Management Specialist

About the Position:
We are seeking a highly skilled Program Management Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development, testing, and implementation of software applications. As a member of our Systems Development and Maintenance (SDM) team, you will work closely with executive management, project managers, and team members to establish projects, provide guidance, and best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Perform portfolio, program, and project management duties, including project planning, monitoring, status reporting, and execution of projects.
- Accurately coordinate and document the project's creation, development, and execution, as well as developing and analyzing financial data, including the project's scope, budget, resource allocation, and justification, tracking baseline, and updating performance and project health.
- Provide financial reports and budget outlines to client executives and project teams.
- Continuously evaluate projects to ensure they are meeting standards, adhering to budgets, and meeting deadlines.
- Perform analysis of complex business functions and requirements as it relates to business needs. Understand and document customers' business processes and practices and serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in project management.
- Draft new and improving existing PMO policies and processes.
- Coordinate with other teams and stakeholders to align the program/project with larger organizational goals.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience as a Program/Project Manager, including organizing, directing, and monitoring multiple projects within the portfolio, preferably in the software development environment.
- Experience with SAFe Scaled Agile Framework.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence.
- Expertise with Power BI Reporting.
- Expertise in project management best practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with the highest levels of management, including oral presentations.
- Expertise with MS Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Outlook).
