Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic risk oversight and counsel to the Lines of Business (LOB).
  • Develop and implement risk management policies, standards, and controls in alignment with corporate guidelines.
  • Identify and assess various risk categories, including credit, market, operational, and compliance risks.
  • Conduct independent monitoring and testing of risk management processes and controls.
  • Establish and maintain a robust risk governance framework for the LOB.
  • Lead and mentor risk management staff in developing procedures, analyses, and reports.
  • Ensure quality assurance for regulatory issues and support issue owners in meeting compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance risk management processes and documentation.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to relevant parties, including Internal Audit and senior leadership.
  • Facilitate the integration of lessons learned into training and procedural updates.

Required Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of experience in the financial services sector or a related field.
  • Proven ability to engage with executive leadership and foster collaborative partnerships.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on detail and critical thinking.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities in a matrixed environment.
  • Ability to influence and drive change across diverse teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • Expertise in regulatory compliance and risk management.
  • Strong presentation and performance management skills.
  • Ability to navigate complex organizational structures effectively.

Shift: 1st shift

Hours Per Week: 40
