We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a local contract nurse in a home health setting. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced RNs to work with a reputable healthcare organization and provide high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in their homes, focusing on health education, wound care, and medication management.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies for optimal care.
- Administer medications, perform wound care, and provide other treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Document patient progress, including vital signs, medication administration, and treatment outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- 1+ year of recent experience in home health or a related field.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
