Job Overview

MDVIP Practice Management, LLC is seeking a dedicated Patient Care Specialist to provide exceptional patient care experience in our Physician Practice setting.

Key Responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled professional who can work under the general and clinical direction of our physicians to deliver direct patient care, collaborate with patients and families, physicians and other members of the healthcare team.

  • Triage incoming calls; respond to questions regarding medications and treatment instructions; coordinate telephone requests to refill prescription drug medications in accordance with physician's directions and protocols.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with clinical nursing standards; observe, record, and report patient's condition; advise physician of patient's adverse reactions to drugs and/or treatments.
  • Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
  • Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
  • Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention
  • Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
  • Maintain accurate patient medical records
  • Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members
Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A State of Massachusetts licensed registered nurse
  • Familiarity with medical software and equipment
  • The ability to build rapport with patients
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Salary and Benefits

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
