Neuro ICU Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Neuro ICU team at Providence St Vincent Medical Center. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to a culture of excellence and innovation.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the Neuro ICU, utilizing your expertise in neurology and critical care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medication, and treatment plans, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and education programs to enhance patient care and professional development.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate - NIH Stroke Scale Training Course within 90 days of hire.
- One (1) year Nursing experience.
- National Certification in area of specialty upon hire.
