Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to join our Analytical Services team. As a researcher supporting our client's Pharmaceutical R&D organization, you will have the opportunity to utilize your technical skills and expertise to enable the acceleration of drug product development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute experiments delivering new science and technology capabilities to the organization intended to augment the prediction of physical transformations (agglomeration, aggregation, dissolution) of suspension pharmaceutical dosage forms.
- Work with a matrix technical team to deliver the project.
- Proactively engage and seek assistance from other scientists to solve problems.
- Accurately capture work in laboratory notebook.
- Author internal as well as external publications.
- Present regular internal updates on project.
- Minimum, a PhD with focus research involving particle science and technology, colloidal science, rheology, surface and interfacial phenomena, soft matter, and related disciplines.
- Formal training in or focused research involving surface and interface characterization techniques, nanotechnologies, and particle analysis methods is desired.
- Basic understanding of computational modeling and data science.
