Job Description

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking a highly respected industry leader to join their team as a Senior Synthesis Chemist.

This onsite position requires a US Citizen or GC Holder with extensive experience in polymers and epoxy chemistries.

  • Lab Research & Development: Lead research projects, focusing on new materials and processes. Plan and execute experiments, analyze data, and contribute to product development across various lines.
  • Product Improvement: Collaborate with production teams to scale up new products, resolve any in-process issues, and recommend process enhancements.
  • Data & Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of experiments, testing, and research findings. Provide valuable insights and data to support production and sales teams.
  • Safety Leadership: Champion a culture of safety by ensuring compliance with environmental and quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • A Master's or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Material Science.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in synthesis chemistry, with expertise in epoxy or polymer chemistry.
  • Proficiency in analytical laboratory techniques and safe lab practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
