Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year

This is a 13-week local contract position with a guaranteed 40 hours of work per week and a shift schedule of 8 hours per day. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical imaging and computerized tomography (CT) scanning.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various technical procedures involving ionizing radiation to detect pathology. They will operate CT equipment safely, maintain A.L.A.R.A. standards, and perform X-rays in emergency situations when needed.

  • Perform CT scans and other diagnostic imaging procedures
  • Maintain accurate patient records and follow strict safety protocols
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Participate in establishing scan protocols and executing specific applications
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • One year of experience in CT scanning, preferably in an acute care setting
  • A Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification with preference given to those with a CT specialty
  • State registration as a Radiologic Technologist
  • Vocational school graduation or equivalent
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, which can be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
