Avionics Technician

This position will be part of the aircraft maintenance team supporting the F-35 at Edwards Airforce Base, CA flight test site.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain all aspects of the aircraft, including F-35 scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, aircraft modification, inspection, wire repair, and troubleshooting.
- Work with a team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve technical issues and improve maintenance processes.
- Develop and implement procedures to improve maintenance efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and advancements in avionics and instrumentation.
- Minimum 8 years of broad hands-on working experience in a 5 or 7 skill level USAF AFSC, Navy NEC, or Marine MOS avionics discipline or equivalent commercial experience.
- Experience with reading and interpreting Aircraft Technical Data Instructions.
- Experience with Tool Control, FOD, HAZMAT, Training, Quality, and Security programs.
- Experience with Maintenance Information Systems such as Electronic Maintenance Instructions, Aircraft Forms Documentation, Technical Data.
- Experience with reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and maintenance instructions.
- Previous flight test or military fighter aircraft maintenance experience in instrumentation and/or avionics.
- Flightline experience highly desired.
