Position Summary:

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist at Guthrie, you will operate x-ray equipment to create high-quality radiographs of designated body parts. This role requires independent judgment, extended knowledge, and expertise to apply ionizing radiation for radiologic purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures and mammographic studies
  • Provide patient care activities related to radiology and mammography
  • Operate Radiology Information Systems, scheduling, tracking, and completion procedures
  • Collaborate with the radiology team to ensure excellence, teamwork, and patient-centered care
  • Ensure patient modesty, comfort, and privacy

Requirements:

  • Completion of a normal radiologic technology training program in an AMA-approved school
  • Registration as a technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Licensure in the state of New York if performing location is a NY Regional Office Site
  • ARRT (M) - mammography certification within two years of employment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Six months to one year of experience in radiologic technology

Salary:

Minimum $25.10, Maximum $39.77

When Mammo Certified: Minimum $31.96, Maximum $50.62
