Your Role: Enhance Store Safety and Security

As a Retail Security Specialist, you will play a vital role in our loss prevention efforts. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Executing daily tasks associated with loss prevention and safety initiatives.
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with store management.
  • Conducting apprehensions in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Collaborating with store associates on shrink and damage prevention strategies.
  • Identifying and addressing both internal and external theft.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to shoplifting guidelines and policies.
  • Provide exceptional service to customers while maintaining a secure environment.
  • Foster a culture of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Monitor and deter dishonest activities from external sources.
  • Participate in investigations and surveillance as needed.
  • Ensure that apprehensions align with theft activity in the store.
  • Complete and manage necessary documentation accurately and promptly.
  • Maintain evidence and demonstrate knowledge of law enforcement protocols.
  • Coordinate shrink-related activities with store management.
  • Comply with all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
  • Support and engage in store shrink reduction initiatives.
  • Encourage associates to utilize shrink reduction resources.
  • Promote safety awareness and help maintain a secure shopping environment.

  • 0-2 years of experience in retail or security.
