Territory Cafe Host

As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional dining experiences for our guests by delivering friendly and responsive service. You will uphold and improve upon our service standards, ensuring that every guest feels valued and cared for.

• Welcome and greet guests warmly, making them feel at home.
• Inform guests of daily specials and menu changes, highlighting our unique offerings.
• Make personalized recommendations and suggest beverage pairings to enhance their dining experience.
• Answer questions about our menu, including the origins of our ingredients and the preparation methods used.
• Provide detailed information about our beverage list, including wine and beer origins and flavor profiles.
• Answer questions about our restaurant functions and services, as well as those of our company.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into our POS system.
• Deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely manner, ensuring their satisfaction.
• Clear and replace settings between courses, maintaining a clean and inviting atmosphere.
• Perform side work before, during, and after each shift, ensuring a smooth operation.
• Maintain clean service areas, adhering to our high standards of cleanliness and organization.
• Monitor and observe guests' dining experiences, responding promptly to any requests or concerns.
• Prepare final bills, present checks to guests, and process payments or make change as needed.
• Be prepared to assist fellow service staff members, working together as a team to deliver exceptional service.
• Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return, fostering a loyal customer base.

• Previous experience in a comparable restaurant setting is preferred.
• Strong work ethic and excellent multi-tasking skills are essential.
• A personable and professional demeanor is required, with a passion for great food and service.
• Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours) and to reach, bend, and stoop as needed.
