Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Recovery Specialist to join our team at La Frontera Center Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in counseling and case management, with experience working with individuals and families affected by mental health and substance abuse issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide counseling and supervision to clients in individual and group settings to achieve treatment goals.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed client records, including evaluation, follow-up, and closure activities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating principles of trauma-informed care.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
  • Provide education and resources to clients and families on mental health and substance abuse issues.
  • Assist with crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Fingerprint clearance required.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
