Job Overview

Frolic Pet Services is a professional pet care company seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Pet Care Specialist. We provide a wide range of pet care services to clients in the Puget Sound region, and we are looking for someone who is able to provide high-quality care to our furry friends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide dog walking and pet sitting services to regular, one-time, and vacation-care clients.
  • Administer medication, feed, walk, play, and provide overall care to pets.
  • Communicate with clients and the Frolic office to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Update the team on changes with clients, pets, locations, keys, and instructions.
  • Be attentive to potential issues or problems and provide quality care in relation to health and safety.

Requirements and Expectations:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable, insured vehicle required.
  • Reliable smartphone with data package, messaging, GPS, email, phone, and camera required.
  • Full and up-to-date vaccination against COVID-19 required.
  • Able to consistently and repetitively walk, kneel, squat, bend, lift, push, pull, grasp, and balance while walking/caring for pets.
  • Able to lift 60lbs+ from ground to table when necessary.
  • Able to walk at a moderate-to-fast pace for long periods in all weather conditions.
  • Possess a high level of patience, calm demeanor, and problem-solving attitude.
  • Attention to detail regarding written instructions and pet health.
  • Self-motivated and able to stay on task with little or no supervision.
  • Friendly and outgoing personality, able to interact with clients and co-workers in a consistently professional manner.

Compensation and Benefits:

$20-22/hr starting, depending on experience. 60% of what we bill the client when providing "Stand Alone" services. Paid training, both online and in the field. Team members with full-time positions are eligible for medical and other benefits after a standard waiting period.

Locations Available:

This job listing is for positions servicing the Renton, Newcastle, and North Kent areas. We have clients pretty much everywhere between North Seattle and NE Tacoma, and even on the East side. Choose the area you are interested in working in.
