Job Summary

Diaconia LLC is seeking a skilled Configuration Manager to oversee the establishment and maintenance of consistency in product performance, functional, and physical attributes with its requirements, design, and operational information throughout its life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in reviewing program-unique specifications to ensure proper format, content, and compliance with program requirements and standards.
  • Support the configuration control function, including receipt, dissemination, processing, tracking, and final disposition of ACSNs, ECPs, CCPs, and other related documents.
  • Review change proposals for thoroughness, configuration, and data management impacts, and make recommendations for Government review and disposition.
  • Assist in preparing and conducting CCB and business management boards, and maintaining change proposal files.
  • Plan and implement FCAs and PCAs, and confirm the adequacy of data used to support these audits.
  • Assist in reviewing and evaluating OEM proposals and reports for configuration status accounting and compliance with Government technical data requirements.
  • Maintain configuration status accounting databases and records to reflect the configuration status of baseline documentation and fielded systems and equipment.
  • Provide support and expertise to assist in organizing and issuing data calls in support of weapons systems and subsystems.
  • Have understanding of distribution statements and FAR/DFARS data rights clauses, and evaluate change proposals for impacts to data.
  • Assist in data reviews, including integrating inputs from Program Office/IPT functionals into draft CDRLs, preparing data review documentation, participating in data reviews, and drafting data.
  • Provide assistance in the preparation and maintenance of CDRLs for inclusion in weapon system contractor RFPs, contracts, and contract modifications.
  • Provide support to the DR function operation of the Joint Deficiency Reporting System (JDRS) or similar system for originating, processing, and tracking DRs.
  • Assist by providing engineering data management support for program requirements, including preparing or updating and maintaining engineering data management plans, establishing and maintaining engineering data activity files, and providing technical support in the preparation of and conduct of engineering data guidance conferences and engineering drawing In-Process Reviews (IPRs).
  • Apply knowledge of the fundamentals of configuration management and the deficiency reporting process to assist in establishing and maintaining consistency of a product's performance, functional, and physical attributes with its requirements, design, and operational information throughout its life.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA)/Bachelor of Science (BS), four (4) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed.
  • OR, eight (8) years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the Job Descriptions.
  • U.S. Citizenship required; Ability to obtain/maintain a Security clearance at the required level.
