Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled R&D Chemist II to join our team at Actalent. As a key member of our analytical pharmaceutical support team, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth, enhancing laboratory capabilities, and ensuring high standards of lab quality compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct feasibility studies, analysis, validation, stability testing, and industry trials in accordance with Quality by Design (QbD) standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Support key performance indicators (KPIs) for laboratory and operational functions.
  • Assist in scaling up projects to commercial levels.
  • Develop and optimize analytical methods for various dosage forms.
  • Create and review technical documents, including analytical method development reports, validation protocols, and standard operating procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in science.
  • 4+ years of industry experience.
  • 3+ years of HPLC, GC, FTIR experience.
  • Experience using chromatography software (Empower 3) is a plus.
  • Previous technical writing experience and ability to present data to internal and external customers is a plus.
  • Previous pharmaceutical/FDA drug experience is a plus.
