Behavioral Health Specialist

We're seeking an experienced Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team at Optum. As a key member of our Behavioral Care Team, you'll be instrumental in providing high-quality outpatient therapy services to individuals and families. With a focus on compassion, empathy, and expert care, you'll help us achieve our mission to make healthcare better for everyone.
About the Role:
This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity for a skilled clinician who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. Your primary responsibility will be to provide outpatient therapy, including family therapy, group therapy, and individual therapy sessions. You'll also be responsible for documenting patient interactions within 48 hours and maintaining contact with referral sources as necessary.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient therapy, family therapy, group therapy, and individual therapy sessions
- Document patient interactions within 48 hours
- Maintain contact with referral sources as necessary
- Schedule appointments around client availability, including evenings and weekends
Requirements:
- Master's degree in clinical counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or relevant field
- NE licensure as a therapist or pending application/licensure
- Flexibility in client preference
Preferred Qualifications:
- PLMHP or pending PLMHP
- Dually credentialed as PLADC or willing to get credentialed as PLADC
- Flexible schedule
- Able to work at least two evenings per week
