Job Description

As a Clinical Transplant Nurse at Tufts Medical Center, you will be responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients undergoing transplants, as well as participating in continuing education and quality initiatives to stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in transplant care. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to create a holistic experience for our patients, and have the opportunity to participate in transplant team meetings, such as QAPI and M&M.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care needs of patients undergoing transplants
  • Participate in continuing education and quality initiatives to stay current on transplant care
  • Collaborate with multiple disciplines across the continuum of patient care to create a comprehensive experience for patients
  • Provide professional nursing care to patients, including administering medications, performing procedures, and developing individualized care plans
Requirements

To be successful as a Clinical Transplant Nurse at Tufts Medical Center, you will need:

  • A Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
  • Specialty Nursing certifications, such as CPTC or CVT
