We are currently seeking a Maritime Import Coordinator to enhance our dynamic team. We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our fast-paced, professional Ocean import division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive, evaluate, and manage import documentation for assigned accounts.
  • Ensure accurate processing, distribution, and timely release of documentation to carriers, clients, and agents.
  • Generate and obtain quotes for shipments while identifying the most efficient transportation methods.
  • Collaborate with Brokerage or CFS to oversee and facilitate the release of goods from carriers, Customs, or other governmental agencies as necessary.
  • Engage with overseas agents to guarantee proper pre-alerts and documentation.
  • Continuously seek alternatives to minimize costs and enhance revenue.
  • Monitor and trace shipments, providing updates to clients and sales teams.
  • Maintain strong, professional relationships with airlines, transportation agencies, and sales personnel.
  • Emphasize customer satisfaction in alignment with company policies.
  • Maintain organized shipment files and ensure timely billing processes.
  • Provide backup support for alternate accounts as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret verbal and written instructions and requests.
  • Proficient in composing clear and concise letters, memos, emails, and other written documentation.
  • Ability to present oneself in a highly professional and cooperative manner when interacting with both internal and external customers and vendors.
  • Capability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Education and Experience:
