Job Overview: As a Fresh Food Specialist at Redner's, you will play a vital role in maintaining the quality and freshness of our produce products. Your primary responsibility will be to verify and communicate the quality, count, and freshness of all products, prepare all merchandise in the salad bar and cut fruit and vegetable areas, and maintain a neat and clean Prep area in accordance to department and company standards.

A successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, basic math skills, and dexterity in hands to enable trimming and packaging of product. Additionally, they will be able to unload, transport, and place merchandise in specified areas, lift up to thirty (30) pounds, and stand upright for the majority of their scheduled work shift. We estimate the annual salary for this position to be around $34,000, considering the job requirements and location.

The job also involves monitoring inventory and supplies, notifying the Produce Manager when orders are needed, and conducting temperature checks on refrigerated coolers.
