Job Summary

As a Senior Data Steward at Walmart, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and security of our data assets. This is an exciting opportunity to join our Strategy & Operations eDiscovery team and contribute to the development of our data governance program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with eDiscovery teams to ensure adherence to data governance policies and procedures.
  • Proactively identify potential data risks and work with business and technology partners to find solutions and enhance existing processes.
  • Develop and maintain system security and compliance documentation.
  • Coordinate projects with internal and external stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Create meaningful data visualizations to provide insights to customers and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, Finance, Computer Science, Data Architecture, or related field, and 3 years' experience in data stewardship, data management, database administration, data analytics, or related field.
  • Or 5 years' experience in data stewardship, data management, database administration, data analytics, or related field.
  • Or Master's degree in Business, Mathematics, Finance, Computer Science, Data Architecture, or related field, and 1 year's experience in data stewardship, data management, database administration, data analytics, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Data Management certification.
  • Driving taxonomy development and application particularly with large and complex sets of information.
  • Industry experience in retail, supply chain, eCommerce, or healthcare.
