This role is responsible for ensuring food safety and customer satisfaction of all products within the processing facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform pre-operational, in-process, and post-operational checks throughout the produce-processing center.
  • Conduct sanitation checks, including ATP swab tests and concentration checks.
  • Monitor HACCP critical control points and FSMA preventative controls.
  • Perform quality evaluations on finished products and raw materials, as well as shelf life testing.
  • Sample products using aseptic technique.
  • Perform laboratory tests, including titration, pH, and brix/acid tests.
  • Perform daily quality control tasks.
  • Monitor pest control.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies.
  • Recommend and execute program enhancements.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to read and write to facilitate communication.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and email functions.
  • Ability to solve problems and make rational decisions.
  • Supports the company's philosophy of innovation and change management by contributing to process improvements.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in an organized manner with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to withstand cold temperatures for extended periods.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
  • Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, hearing ability, and visual acuity.
  • Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
