About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Endoscopy Technician to join our team at Salem Health Hospitals and Clinics. As an Endoscopy Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring patient safety and efficient operations within the Endoscopy department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize strong communication skills to accurately document patient information and coordinate with various services.
  • Perform equipment checks, assist with patient transport, and adhere to infection prevention protocols.
  • Support the care team by setting up procedure rooms, assisting physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and anticipating instrument needs.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of hospital or ASC medical procedural experience preferred in Endoscopy Technician or comparable role.
  • Must have working knowledge of aseptic technique.
  • BLS required for hire.
  • Must complete and pass the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates Program within 6 months of hire.
