Key Responsibilities
This job opportunity requires an experienced transmission and distribution engineer who can design, construct, and maintain electric power systems, restore service to commercial and residential customers, and work safely at heights above 35 feet.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements effective solutions to complex problems affecting transmission and distribution systems
- Collaborates with colleagues and stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction
- Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
- Provides training and guidance to junior engineers and technicians
Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must have a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field, have completed a federal or state-sanctioned apprenticeship, and possess a valid Class A driving permit. They should also be able to pass a DMV medical exam, lift and carry up to 100 pounds, and work in all types of weather and road conditions.
