Job Responsibilities

This job opportunity requires an experienced transmission and distribution engineer who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, constructing, and maintaining electric power systems, restoring service to commercial and residential customers, and working safely at heights above 35 feet.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Designs and develops new transmission and distribution systems to meet customer demand
  • Constructs and maintains existing power systems to ensure reliability and efficiency
  • Restores service to customers quickly and safely after outages or disruptions
  • Works closely with colleagues and stakeholders to identify solutions to complex problems

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field, have completed a federal or state-sanctioned apprenticeship, and possess a valid Class A driving permit. They should also be able to pass a DMV medical exam, lift and carry up to 100 pounds, and work in all types of weather and road conditions.
