Job Summary

At RoadSafe Traffic, we are seeking a highly skilled Traffic Control Technician 2 to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of traffic on our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and maintain safe work zones to protect workers and the general public from potential hazards.
  • Coordinate with project teams to develop and implement effective traffic control plans.
  • Monitor and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Lead and train crew members on safety procedures and job duties.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 2,000 hours and/or 1 year of traffic control experience in a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass a drug test.
  • ATSSA TCT Certification or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe.
  • TMA Certification or ability to pass a certification course.
  • Defensive Driver Training certification.
Working Conditions
  • Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions and potential hazards.
  • Dealing with traveling public effectively and maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Noise level of the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
  • Regularly required to stand/walk and reach with hands and arms for up to 14 hours a day.
