Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team at Community Health Care Association. As a key member of our mental health department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychiatric care to patients of all ages.

Responsibilities
  • Provide Comprehensive Psychiatric Care: Diagnose and treat mental health disorders in children and adolescents, as well as adults, using evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate with Primary Care Providers: Work closely with primary care physicians to ensure comprehensive medical care for patients.
  • Consult with Medical Providers: Provide expert consultations to medical providers on psychiatric matters.
  • Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Establish and evaluate treatment plans and goals with patients, ensuring effective care and outcomes.
  • Manage Caseloads and Documentation: Utilize electronic medical records to manage caseloads and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Participate in Quality Assurance: Contribute to quality assurance activities to ensure high standards of care.
  • Perform Other Duties: Participate in on-call rotations and perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an Accredited Medical School: Must have graduated from an accredited medical school.
  • Licensure to Practice in New York State: Must be licensed to practice medicine in New York State.
  • Basic CPR Certification: Must hold Basic CPR (BCLS) certification.
  • Experience and Specialty Certification: Experience and specialty certification in child and adolescent psychiatry are preferred.
  • Bilingual Skills: Bilingual skills in English and Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese) are preferred.
