Job Summary

The incumbent will be responsible for the acquisition, processing, and archiving of all patient data. Under general supervision, the incumbent will independently perform CT examinations using established exam protocols. The individual will maintain and operate equipment according to manufacturers' operation manuals. The CT Technologist will comply with and adhere to department protocols, UCDHS policies and procedures, Department of Radiology policies and procedures, and other applicable work rules and regulations.

Department Overview

The Department of Radiology is a 24-hour, seven-day-a-week operation providing imaging services for adult and pediatric inpatients and outpatients. Under the direction of a qualified physician, the CT Technologist will operate a variety of equipment, including an x-ray generator, patient table, control console, and computer.
