Job Title: Special Education Teacher - CrossCat

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team at a local school in St. Louis, Missouri. As a Special Education Teacher, you will work with students who require additional support and accommodations to succeed in the classroom.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in special education, with experience working with students with diverse needs. You will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students, as well as providing instruction and support in a variety of settings.

As a Special Education Teacher, you will work closely with general education teachers, related service providers, and other support staff to ensure that students receive a comprehensive and inclusive education. You will also be responsible for communicating with parents and guardians to keep them informed about their child's progress and needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement IEPs for students
  • Provide instruction and support in a variety of settings
  • Work closely with general education teachers and related service providers
  • Communicate with parents and guardians
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field
  • Teaching certification with CrossCat Special Education Endorsement
  • Experience working with students with diverse needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Benefits:
