About the Job

Huyett is a leading manufacturer and distributor of industrial fasteners, and we are seeking a skilled Precision Manufacturing Technologist to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced production environment, utilizing CNC machining equipment to produce high-quality products for our customers.

About the Role

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $19.40-$24.00 per hour, plus performance bonuses. You will be responsible for operating and adjusting machining equipment, performing standard and repetitive sequences of operations, and working from certified part drawings to check finished parts.

  • You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of machinery, including drilling, boring, grinding, and milling equipment.
  • As a key member of our team, you will be expected to follow detailed instructions, work from standard coding and operational data, and maintain accurate records.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Manufacturing/machining experience, preferably utilizing G-code and/or M-code programming and Okuma machinery.
  • Knowledge of tooling applications and machine shop best practices.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
