IT Controls Specialist:

This role presents an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to enhance the organization's IT risk and compliance efforts, specifically in the realm of privacy. The individual will leverage their extensive background in IT audit and compliance to implement a robust controls assurance framework.

This position is available due to the growing need for expertise in privacy and compliance initiatives, allowing the individual to make a significant impact.


Responsibilities:
Perform in-depth IT risk assessments and compliance evaluations.
Design and implement effective control assessments and monitoring processes.
Collaborate with stakeholders to communicate the implications of control findings.

Required Qualifications & Experience:
Over 8 years of experience in IT risk, IT audit, IT compliance, or IT privacy roles.
Strong background in technology audit, particularly with NIST standards.
Advanced knowledge of relevant IT policies, laws, and compliance frameworks.
Experience with Federal Controls like GDPR and CCPA
Knowledge of ATO (Authority to Operate)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as PCI, SOC, and CIS.
Experience utilizing Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) tools.
Proficiency in data analytics tools for effective monitoring and reporting.
